Happy Birthday, Jesus Card

I decided to do a rocking card for this card base. I used my Silhouette Design Studio software and a cut file from the Silhouette Online Store to size up my card base before cutting it out on my Silhouette Portrait machine. I cut the base in red cardstock and the background in a green paper with holly on it. I added some red gemstones for the holly berries and to give the card a little embellishment.
For the image, I imported it to my Silhouette Design Studio software and sized it for my card. Then I drew a circle cut around it before printing it and cutting it out on my Silhouette Portrait. The sentiment was also a print and cut on my Portrait machine.
I colored the image with Copic and MEXPY markers as well as a Krylon gold leafing pen for the wings and a Sargent Liquid Metals pen for the stars in her hair. I did a decoupage of her skirt for a little extra detail and added a few gold stars using mini glue dots to adhere them. I adhered the image to the card base using foam squares. I also added a few gold stars to the inside and popped up the sentiment with foam squares.
