Tie Dye New Baby Card

After making a tie dye card earlier this week for the MFP Challenge, I had some extra watercolor paper with pink tie dye circles and decided to use it up in another card. I added some green circles with blue centers this time to play along with the Cupcake Challenge inspiration colors. I used the largest die in Sue Wilson's Córdoba die set to make a side-hinge pink card base. Then I used the same die to die cut my tie dyed watercolor paper and adhered it to the front with glue tape. I die cut the stork (the die is by Die-Namites) from the same pink cardstock I used for the card base.

Here's a look at the green circles with blue centers that I sponged with ink before I added some water with a paintbrush. (I had already blended the pink circles from my last project). I think they have more of a tie dyed effect than the pink ones after adding water. That may be because the colors contrast more, so it shows up better. 

Here's a look at the side-hinge card base. I simply folded the paper and taped it to the die with the paper not quite meeting the edge of the cut line on the left side so that the two layers would remain joined.
