Wisteria Wishes Bendy Card

I've been experimenting with my SU! Wisteria Wishes bundle recently, and this time around I used the wisteria dies to create a tree alongside my stamped wisteria flowers and die cut leaves and branches. I think the wisteria stamps and dies from this set work great to create trees when they are turned upside down, and I plan to use the stamps to make a forest background soon.

For this card, I used a cut file called "Bendy Card with Fence" from the Silhouette Design Store to create the card base. I had some woodgrain card stock that I used for the fence section, and then I used some blue card stock for the back of the card and some green for the middle part.

The 2 cards I made are very similar, but I played around a bit with ink blending on the card on the left because I felt like the first card I made was a little too plain with just the clouds in the sky. I also added a stamped sentiment ("Hang in there") from the SU! bundle to the card on the left and die cut it with a Gina Marie Designs stitched die before adhering it with foam tape. I have a friend going through some very challenging things right now, and I think this card will give her a smile. The card on the right will probably become a birthday card with a birthday sentiment on the back.

For the purple wisteria flowers, I stamped several sets of them using my MISTI for the large base of the flowers and then used an acrylic block for the darker purple accent stamping. I added some die cut butterflies (you have to have butterflies with flowers, right?😁) and arranged the die cut leaves and branches along the top of the fence. I used Art Glitter glue to adhere the greenery and some of the wisteria flowers. The rest of the wisteria flowers were adhered with foam tape to give them some dimension. On the card with the cut out clouds (which were made using my Silhouette Cameo), I also used foam tape to add the clouds.

For the first "tree" (on the card on the right), I just used 2 colors of green card stock for the two layers of the tree and then adhered the tree beside the fence with Art Glitter glue. For the card on the left, I die cut a layer of adhesive foam and then glued the 2 different sized "tree" layers which I had die cut from green card stock to the foam after blending some darker green ink onto the green card stock for the top layer. For this section of the card, I also cut some grass pieces out of green card stock using my Silhouette Cameo and then blended some darker green onto the grass pieces.

For the back of the cards, I used blue card stock and added some brown ink using a blending brush to create dirt for my print and cut bike. I prefer the background I ink blended using 3 colors of blue ink to the one with the white clouds.
