Donut Delite Card

There are currently a lot of challenges using the color pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so I thought I'd participate and used mainly pinks on this card. A few months back I won my choice of 2 digital stamps from The Stamping Boutique, and I just couldn't resist this one named "Donut Delite." The Stamping Boutique has lots of great digis to choose from, but this one is perfect for the sentiment I wanted to use.
I downloaded the stamp into my Silhouette Design Studio software and sized it up for my 5X7 inch card. I typed up the sentiments, also, turned off the cut lines and filled them in with pink and then arranged everything on my virtual mat before printing it all out.
After printing, I colored in my stamp with MEXPY markers. I used a different style than I normally do. This is a "scribble" style. You can tell better in the close up of the image, but instead of filling in each segment with color, I added some color while leaving white spaces, too. I die cut the image with one of the ovals from the Spellbinders Elegant Ovals set. I die cut the sentiment on the front with the smallest Spellbinders die from the Elegant Labels 4 set. I cut the background with Spellbinders Heirloom Legacy die using vellum that changes from light pink to dark pink. I adhered the background with vellum tape, used foam tape on the image and used glue dots for the sentiment. I added a pink ribbon through the sentiment before adhering it. It looks almost red in the pictures, but it's actually hot pink.

For the inside of the card, I die cut a Spellbinders Majestic Labels 25 from some cardstock with donuts, coffee and treats on it. I adhered it to the inside of the card with glue tape. Then I cut out the sentiment with a Spellbinders Belly Band One die and adhered that with foam squares. I added 3 pink buttons adhered with glue dots to embellish the inside.

Here's a close-up of the image. It's actually not all that quick to color in scribble style! At least not for me as I had trouble deciding how much color to put in each area. I probably overdid it because I'm so used to coloring everything in!
