FTHS May Challenge

This month's progressive monthly freebie over at From The Heart Stamps is perfect for a Mother's Day card for my sweet mother-in-law. I bought her a hanging basket of assorted annuals, and this sweet digi will go with it perfectly! Thanks, Faith!
I started my card with a white 5X7 inch card base. I printed some of the lovely digi papers from the FTHS paper pack "Every Flower." They are so springy and cheerful, don't you think?
I followed the sketch on the FTHS blog this week, too, so I die cut some rectangles, squares and circles using Gina Marie Designs dies. I decided to use the spotlight technique on this card for a little something different, so I die cut the digi twice in 2 different sizes and just colored the smaller circle. I added the sentiment die cut (this is a Lawn Fawn die I found at a local scrapbook outlet store for less than half the original price! Score!) which I cut out of white glitter paper. I added a felt doily behind the digi and am hoping my MIL loves the flowers and card and knows how much we appreciate her.
