MFT Sketch and Color Challenges Card

I've been wanting to participate in the MFT color and sketch challenges for awhile, and I just haven't had the time until now. I recently went to a huge sale at a local scrapbook outlet, and I picked up 2 sets of MFT Die-Namics dies for 75% off the retail price! Those weren't the only dies I bought, but I promised myself if I bought them I would finally enter the next set of challenges on the MFT blog. So here's what I made with both challenges in mind.

Don't you love the little MFT 3x4 notepad die? It's adorable and will be fun for some school-themed cards for graduation, back-to-school and teacher appreciation. Plus, did I mention it's just adorable?!
Then I also used dies from MFT's chemistry die set. That set is loaded with dies of all sorts, including beakers and bubbles! So many possibilities with that set! Here I've just used 3 of the science icons to go with the sentiment I wrote and printed using my Silhouette Design Studio software. I die cut the sentiment with a Gina Marie Designs drop banner die.
The color challenge has a fun combination of light and dark purple, lime green and orange, so I incorporated those into my card using some Richard Garay and Papertrey Ink cardstock with a few light and dark purple sequins from Avery Elle.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

I'm delighted that you are following me! It's a pleasure to meet you and return the compliment and I do apologize that life and health have kept me from getting over here until now. I hope to see you again soon!! Hugs, Darnell
