Have you ever made a triangle fun fold card before? It had been quite some time since I used this fun fold, so I searched for a video on YouTube and found this one: Easy Triangle Fold Card Tutorial.
I followed Jackie Bolhuis' instructions in the video linked above to trim and score all my pieces. Then I embossed a panel of pink cardstock using Altenew's Waffled Diamonds 3D embossing folder and used masking paper to mask off areas so I could ink blend over sections of the embossed panel using different shades of pink from Altenew's Bubblegum Dreams Fresh Dye Ink as well as their Pink Crystal Fresh Dye Ink. Once the panel was completed, I trimmed it to fit the card front and cut it on the diagonal. I added it to the triangle flaps using Altenew's Instant Dimension Foam Tape.
To complete the front of the card, I cut a triangle out of the same pink cardstock I used for the card base and stamped "HAPPY GRADUATION" using a stamp from Altenew's Craft-Your-Life: Flourishing Garden set. I added a magnolia I had die cut using Altenew's Parchment Bouquet set. Then I finished the sentiment triangle panel with 3 gem sparkles from Altenew's Pink Tourmaline Gem Sparkles set.
For the inside of the card, I again used masking paper to mask off a section of a white cardstock panel on the diagonal to create more triangles on the inside of the card to match the triangles on the outside of the card. I lined them up so that the front flaps align with the inner panel. I added some Fuchsia Fresh Dye Ink to the right side of the panel and then used Altenew's Squiggly Lines Stencil with a little more Fuchsia to create a pattern. To finish the inside of the card, I die cut "congrats" out of the same pink cardstock I used for the card base and the shadow for the sentiment out of a scrap of the embossed and ink blended panel I used for the front of the card. I added it to the inside panel on a diagonal.
