4-Column Fun Fold

I've been attending a Bible study on the book of Titus this summer, and I wanted to create thank you cards for my 2 friends who led the study. I really appreciate them sacrificing so much of their time to teach our group. I've learned a lot and have also just enjoyed the time catching up with dear friends.

I started to make this card by Lisa Curcio: Make This Diamond Column Pop Up Card | No Dies Needed - YouTube, but I glued my columns incorrectly when I started assembling the card, so I decided to try something different. I put the columns in the center of the card and glued them together so that there's a column that sticks out on both sides in the middle of the card. I definitely plan to give the orginal version a try next, but for now, I really like how this turned out.

To decorate the card, I added white cardstock measuring 2 by 6 inches to cover where the columns come together on both sides of the card so you don't see the seams on the front or the back. Then I created a bunch of Altenew's Craft-A-Flower: Hellebore flowers and leaves in various colors (from cardstock I had sprayed, water colored, or both). I assembled the flowers and arranged them on the front where I wanted them. I felt there was too much white space, so then I die cut some of the center pieces from the flower dies in the same colors as the flowers and added those to the card front.

For the sentiment on the front of the card, I stamped "thanks" from Altenew's Build-A-Garden: Bougainvillea set and die cut it with the coordinating die. I added it with foam tape to the center part of the card that pops out.

For the back of the card, I stamped "so very grateful" using Altenew's Build-A-Garden: Sulfur Cosmos set. Then I added a couple of the Hellebore flowers and leaves to finish decorating the card.

I've recently become an affiliate for Altenew, so if you are interested in ordering something lovely from Altenew and would like to use my link, thank you very much! Here's the link: Carrie's Altenew affiliate page
