Flip Card for New Years

There's still a little time to enter the Lunar New Year Challenge, so I wanted to make a second card with the pretty lantern pattern paper I found recently. I made a quick card with the pattern paper and some black, red, and gold cardstocks from my stash using the Sizzix Card Label die set. It die cuts the card base and score lines as well as the layers for the sides of the flip card.

The other die sets I used are from Altenew: Bold Numerals Die Set and Essential Sentiment Strips Die Set. I thought it was kind of fun to have the date cut in half so only the "20" shows on one side and then the "26" on the other.

This card was so quick and easy to make, and I plan to make a few more of them to send to the small group of elderly widows and widowers I send cards to regularly. I think they'll like these fun cards, and the Sizzix die set makes it easy to mass produce them.

If you're interested in shopping at Altenew, I'd love it if you used my affiliate link here: Carrie's Altenew Link. Again, I receive a small commission at no additional cost to you.
