Gerda Steiner fall card

This month at the Outlawz Monthly Progressive Challenge, we have a darling Gerda Steiner digi to use. This cute girl pulling her load of pumpkins makes a great fall image.
I used a 5X7 inch Kraft card base for this card. I trimmed a piece of orange card stock to fit the card front and then chose the layout. I liked the idea of popping up my frame with the image underneath, so I chose which dies I wanted to use and then sized up my digi using my Silhouette Design Studio software. I printed it out and then cut the frame and the image using Spellbinders Radiant Rectangles dies. I colored the digi using Copic and MEXPY markers and then used my Marvey Snow marker for the trim on the boots and hat. I added snow-colored fine glitter while the marker was still wet so it would stick to the trim, making a sparkly 3-D effect. For embellishments, I used an acorn and pumpkin from Paper Studios Knick Knack Collections "Fall Icons" and a couple of leaves I made from Sculpey clay and using the Premo "Nature" clay cutters set.
Here's a close up of the clay leaves and glitter accents on the card:

For the inside of the card, I used a piece of burlap as a background for a felt pumpkin I cut out using a Cuttlebug cut and emboss set called "Pumpkin Spice." I cut the pumpkin out in orange felt and then cut the leaf and stem in green and brown and trimmed them to fit together. I also embossed each piece before adhering them all together.

Season's Greetings Card

This card includes a digi by Gemma Correll called "Four Eyes." I love puns and couldn't resist this one!
This is my attempt at a CAS card for a few challenges. I struggle with CAS-style cards because I tend to go for lots of embellishments so it's hard for me to scale things back. This card really was simple in any case! I sized up my digi in my Silhouette Design Studio software, printed out the digi, trimmed it with my paper cutter and adhered it to a Kraft 5x7 card base with foam tape. Then I tied some matching twine around the top. Voila!

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

Pig Out on Your Birthday Card

This card starts with a 5X7 inch white card base that I embossed on my Cuttlebug with a Cuttlebug embossing folder with a cupcake pattern. Since I was following a sketch, I then cut a piece of pink cardstock to fit the sketch and embossed it with the cupcake motif as well. I adhered it with some cupcake Washi tape I've had for years and am thrilled to find a use for! I liked the idea of a black mat for the image, so I used one of my Spellbinders Resplendent Rectangles dies for the mat and adhered it with foam tape.
For the image and sentiment, I used a From the Heart stamps digi set called "Hamlet PigWit Pig Out." I imported it to my Silhouette Design Studio software and sized it up for the card. Then I printed it out and cut it to fit. I colored it with MEXPY markers and adhered it with more foam tape. I added a "You are Awesome" flair in the bottom right corner to pick up some of the blue from the cupcake frosting on the digi and some of the cupcakes on the Washi tape.

Halloween ATC

The image for this ATC comes from one of my favorite Halloween digital stamp sets: "Candy Run" by From the Heart Stamps. I recently made an interactive box with this little guy on the front (see my post labelled "Halloween Box" from October 3 for details on how I digitally colored the image and did a print and cut of the candies and sentiment used here) and couldn't resist using him again for this project!
This has been a week of ATCs for me, with this one being my 3rd and final one for the week. It's a challenge to design a layout for a card that is only 2 1/2 inches by 3 1/2 inches, but that's part of the fun! Plus, I really enjoy miniature stuff.
I cut the purple shimmer cardstock into the 2 1/2 inch by 3 1/2 inch rectangle using my paper cutter. Then sorted through my leftover "goodies" from when I did a print and cut of this character, the sentiments that went with him, and some candy decorations. I chose the sizes I wanted and how I wanted them laid out on the ATC, and then I adhered most of it with glue tape. I popped up the candy corn with a foam square so it was the same height as the sparkly candy embellishments below the sentiment. I distressed the edges of the "Happy Halloween" sentiment with black ink to help it stand out more.

Christmas ATC

For my second ever ATC card, I decided to go with a Christmas theme. I heat embossed "Merry Christmas" from Paper Smooches "Merry Motifs" stamp set onto some silver cardstock with black embossing powder. Then I used a Couture by Craft and Create die to cut out the snowflake border with my Cuttlebug (Sorry I can't locate the original packaging with the name, but it was something like "Snowflake border," I think.) I had already chosen some cute Santa paper for my background, so I just needed to add a couple Spellbinders die cuts for my embellishments. They are from Spellbinders "Floral Burst" die set, but I think they make great snowflakes!

Fall ATC

This seems to be the week for creating ATCs! Over at the Outlawz, it's the twist for "Twisted Thursday's," and it's also the theme this week for "Saturday Paper A La Mode." I wound up making a total of 3 ATCs, but this was my first attempt.
The digi is by From the Heart Stamps. The set is called "Pumpkin Patch Girl." I imported her to my Silhouette Design Studio software, traced her and paper pieced her digitally before making an offset cut file to print and cut her out. Then I used some vellum I had stamped with pumpkins as a background for her on the 2 1/2 inch by 3 1/2 inch trading card. I cut out the ATC base using a die set from W Plus 9 Design Studio's "Sunshine Layers" that I trimmed to fit the dimensions of an ATC.
I added a shrink plastic pumpkin and some orange twine to finish it off.
