Some cards are more labor intensive than others, and this one was definitely time consuming! But it's for my youngest daughter as a thank you for the Altenew gift card she gave me for Mother's Day! That's always the perfect gift for me! 😄
For this fun fold card, I used a card design called a Pop-Up Parade Card and followed the measurements and instructions in this video: Five Pop-Up Parade Fun Fold Cards, Suestampfield Crafternoon Creative Escape, April 2025. I modified my white card base to be top folding rather than side folding like she did in her video.
For the blue strips I used on the pop-up sections, I trimmed watercolor paper that I had watercolored using Altenew's Dusk Watercolor Brush Marker Refill. I used the same watercolor paper to die cut the leaves and stems of the orchids and some of the
