This digi and sentiment are the DOTM over at Imagine That! Digis this month. Isn't that dog just darling with those reindeer antlers? He reminds me of Max, the Grinch's dog when the Grinch tried to dress him up as a reindeer. So cute!
So this card also follows a recipe for Day 5 of Christmas Chaos over at the Catch the Bug blog! I am really working to get all 7 challenges finished today! I chose "Fruit Cake" for my recipe: Make it funny and use scraps to create your card. I think the sentiment is funny, and you probably wondered why I used "Dog Park" paper instead of Christmas paper for this card but that's what I had some leftovers of that I thought kind of matched the dog theme!
I used the precolored version of this dig (such a great option to have when pressed for time!), and used my Silhouette Design Studio software to size it up and print it out. I die cut it with Spellbinders Marvelous Squares and then die cut a frame with the Dog Park Paper by using the negative. I used foam tape to adhere the frame to my Kraft card base and then used glue tape to adhere the image so that the frame is actually higher than the image. Then I die cut my sentiment with a Couture by Craft and Create ornament die and added a button tied with twine to the top of it.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
