Tic Tac Toe Challenge at The Outlawz Twisted Thursday

This week over at The Outlawz Twisted Thursday Challenge, our twist is to use 3 elements in a row from our Tic Tac Toe board. I've chosen glitter, flowers and brads for my card.
Our sponsors this month are Gina Marie Designs and Ppinkydolls. Gina Marie Designs is giving the following X-Stitched Rectangle Die Set away to this month's winner (U.S. addresses only), and we are also being sponsored by Ppinkydolls this month (digital stamps available to worldwide addresses for that prize). You can check out Gina Marie Design's dies and stamps at and Ppinkydolls digi stamps at
My card uses a darling digi by Ppinkydolls as well as die cuts from the same X Stitch Rectangle set that Gina is giving away this month. The glittery dragonfly and butterfly die cuts are from also Gina Marie Designs dies. I die cut some double-sided adhesive paper and then adhered the die cuts to the card. I poured glitter over the die cuts and voila! An easy way to add a sparkly touch to a card! I also tried something new after watching a Make it Monday video over at Papertrey Ink this week. I cut a white panel and scored it using one of the patterns on my Ultimate Crafter's Companion scoreboard. I think it added a little something extra to this card.
I added my flower brads and debated whether to add some chipboard flowers I had in my stash. In the end, I decided I had enough going on already, and the chipboard would have been too much with everything else.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

  1. Carrie, Love these colors and all the layers of card stock. I need to go and get that die cut it looks so nice, love the x's. The ppinkydolls image is adorable and love the coloring. The butterfly and dragonfly are so pretty with all the sparkle.
    Hugs Pat

  2. I love all the layers, Carrie, and your cute image is colored beautifully. Those sparkly die cuts are wonderful. I have not yet tried that technique, and now I MUST! LOL!

  3. Beautiful, Carrie! I love the layers and the sparkly die cuts! I have that Crafter's Companion...I will have to try that wavy scoring, it looks fantastic!
