With Love Roses Envelope Card

This month over at the Outlawz Monthly Progressive Challenge we were given a digi stamp by Sandi's Samples. It's lovely to work with flowers, especially as it's cold and snowy out here in my neck of the woods (Western Michigan close to the lakeshore).

I started by importing the digi to my Silhouette Design Studio software and sizing it up for this card. I did a trace file so I could print and cut it. I colored it with Copic and MEXPY markers.

The card base is a cut file from the Silhouette Online Store. It makes an envelope card that latches on the front. I chose some pretty double-sided card stock and added just a framed sentiment with a small flower embellishment I made out of shrink plastic to the front. For the inside of the card, I used some flowers and a butterfly from the same set the framed sentiment came from and added the "with love" sentiment from that set as well.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:

  1. Beautiful card, love the colors and the beautiful image you used.
    Hugs, Lori m

  2. This is beautiful, Carrie! I LOVE the soft colors and the wonderful flowers on the inside! Gorgeous! HUGS! :) Mynn xx
