Hexagon Tower Card for Altnew's Anniversary

This month is Altenew's 11 anniversary, and they have been holding blog hops and IG hops to celebrate! They graciously extended an invitation to me to participate in Day 1 of the IG hops, and this is one of the cards I created to celebrate! It's a Hexagon Tower Card, and I found the instructions here: #295 (25) 6x6inch Hexagon Tower Card. There's also a pdf you can print in the Di's Den For Stamping Facebook group. Thanks, Di!

To start my card, I first measured and trimmed all my pieces for the green card base and the white and pink layers. I embossed the white layers using Altenew's Festive Greenery and then assembled the card base and layers.

For the floral focal piece, I stamped Altenew's Build-A-Garden: Magnificent Branch stamp using Altenew's embossing ink and white embossing powder. Then I ink blended using the coordinating stencils and Altenew's Whispering Woodlands and Bubblegum Dreams Fresh Dye Ink collections as well as Altenew's Fresh Lemon Crisp Dye Ink. Then I die cut the image using the coordinating die and decided where I wanted to trim off pieces to add a bit of the image to the two side panels in the front. I adhered all the floral pieces using Altenew's Instant Dimension Foam Tape in various sizes and thicknesses. To finish the front of the card, I added some Bubblegum Dreams enamel dots.

For the back of the card, I used Altenew's Essential Sentiment Strip die set for the Happy Anniversary sentiment and the Crafted with Love stamp set for the heat embossed sentiment.

I've recently become an affiliate for Altenew, so if you are interested in ordering something lovely from Altenew and would like to use my link, thank you very much! Here's the link: Carrie's Altenew affiliate page
