Carolers Card

This card features a lovely digi from The Paper Shelter. I recently bought a few beautiful digi sets from them, and I couldn't wait to try something out with this lovely vintage couple out caroling. I imported them and the paper that came with them into my Silhouette Design Studio software and then also did a print and cut of the couple so that I could do a little decoupage with them. After printing and cutting everything out, I layered up 2 more layers of the carolers to give the image more dimension. I chose some pretty blue snowflake paper for the layer just behind the couple (you can't really see the snowflakes now that I cut it out using a Spellbinders Labels 47 Decorative Elements Die, but that's what those cream "spots" you see are! Then behind that, I used a Couture by Craft and Create die to cut out some paper with music notes on it to go with the caroling theme. The card base itself is a top-hinge card made with a Spellbinders Grand Labels 1 die. For the Catch the Bug Christmas Chaos Day 4 challenge, I needed a one-word sentiment (I chose "Rejoice"), 3 layers of paper, and 2 different embellishments, so I added some pink buttons to the lower right of the card and some blue gemstones to the "i"s in "Rejoice." Whew! That brings me up to Day 5 next! I'm getting there! Just 3 more projects to go!
